Floating bricks, concrete
A set of four, each: (W)125 x (D)60 x (H)43cm
The new Para Site space is composed of two adjacent units. The design proposal by Collective Studio, responsible for the space design, breaks open two irregular doorways on the dividing walls. The execution is carried out by the contractor Ori.
"Stairs" derive from the aforementioned framework, constructed with dismantled lightweight brick fragments from the doorways, complemented by concrete paving. The fragmented edges are preserved, allowing the contours of cause and effect to extend. They are the shadow of each other.
The remaining ruins, due to the completion of the crossing, are situated before and after the threshold. Closely following each step up and down.
